Hello all have a Radeon 270x 2gb gpu. Would i be better to get a FX 8320 or Intel i5 4670k for gaming as i want to play bf4. How many frames could i get with either

It will be your GPU that will limit you with either of those CPUs

Whichever you choose, it will be your GPU that will cause a bottleneck for BF4 at 1920x1080 Ultra settings. You won't notice a difference between those two CPUs.

Personally, I'd get the i5 system to answer your question.

Given those prices I'd get the i5 since it is cheaper and considered better overall.

I would say the 4690K as the cores on it are stronger than the FX's. It also uses the 22 nm manufacturing tech.

The i5 beats it in everything except rendering. That is why I suggest it. Look at gaming builds that are mid to high end, which cpu do they typically choose? i5-k
