tz00 temp is 118ºc

I've just installed a new machine with Asus Z97-K, and Intel I7-4790.

Everything seems fine, but when i've installed monitoring software, i got this information, the TZ00 sensor reports 118ºC, in speedfan and also in cpuid HardMon.

For reference, TZ01 is at 30º, cpu at 32º and gpu at 27º.

what should i do? thanks.

if i had another way to check it, because other tools don't show that sensor, and bios also doesn't, so i think the same as you, but i would like to be sure.

i've contacted asus support, but without answer :(
asus final answer is that they don't support 3rd party software, and since their software reports mb and cpu as ok temps, no comment on this. So. i'll try to ignore this.
