Solution Phillip Corcoran Sep 1, 2014 The traditional MBR partition style doesn't support partitions which exceed 2.2 TB Therefore, you have to convert the drive to the GPT partition style: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/convert-mbr-to-gpt-disk
