I am thinking about building a gaming PC. The problem i have is i want something future proof. something where i can run the latest games on ultra at 1080p and where i dont have to spend a ton of money in 4-5 years to upgrade. I am looking to spend less than 2000$ (Canadian) that includes the monitor too.

I also am looking for a gaming PC where it can keep cool and doesnt make to much noise. The last gaming PC i had was like a heater.

thats what i got so far, and i already went over my 2k i was planing to spend. I dont know if i went overboard.

It's kinda overkill.
1, You don't need an i7 for gaming
2, I don't think you need a 170$ CLC, the Noctua ND-H14 would be good enough.
3, RAM and SSDs could be found for less.
4, A 50$ case would achieve the same functionality
5, Better PSUs can be found for less.
6, You don't need the wi-fi adapter.
Otherwise, you're good to go!

Do you need a wifi adapter, or can you use the ethernet cord to connect your pc to the net?

I'll post a build soon.

I think the i7 and 16gbs of ram are kindof overkill but you might wanna keep them of you want your PC to last a few years
