I have random freezes after a few hours of using my computer. I just installed a new GPU but this has been also happening on my old GPU (Radeon 6850). I have stress test the new GPU with furmark for 15m, no problems there. I have also ran memtest86 for 8 hours with no errors. The only thing i can think of is that my PSU is dying.

My specs are
GPU: GTX 760 superclocked
CPU: i3 2120
RAM: 4gb
PSU: Raidmax 530w
motherboard: z75 pro3
I have had freezes like this before but only when i installed new ram i got from a friend. Putting in the ram i have now seemed to fix the freezes.

Could well be down to your PSU too... Raidmax PSUs are honestly just crap, replace it ASAP with a quality branded one like this: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550s...

or refer to this list: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1804779/power-...

I just froze again today. I've done a clean install of windows and ran MSE scan also malwarebytes didn't find anything. I'm trying to wait till i can order a new power supply, that's all i can think is causing it other than the harddrive.

I've ran chkdsk, I'm going to see if i can borrow a PSU from a friend. I'm 85% sure that it is the PSU that I've had for like two years now (I bought it the same time as my old card its almost dead). Thanks for the speedy replies and help!
