I just ordered $4800 desktop. My Asus G74SX A1 with 12 gig Ram and GTX560M Graphic card can't support Ultra high defination graphic for World of Tanks which I play. I wasn't up to date on DDR4 memory. Do I need this upgrade to DDR4 before its shipped to my address? This PC is still in production phase and I have 1 week to let them know. I am scared of overheating PC, so I added many cooling upgrades.

If there are any modification you can think of that comes up to same price let me know. Thanks.

Its cyberpowerPC and detailed description is below:

octa core amd cpu's areN'T AS STRONG AS A I7 4790K IMO, THE CORE TO PERFORMANCE RATIO ISN'T AS GOOD
sry for caps lock, just found out while typing, and cba deleting it

ps, have you found out how much a r9 295 x2 is ? It's roughly 1.5k right?
WELL HECK YES.

You should immediately cancel that order and order the new, revised Haswell CPUs and mobos that support DDR4. There is no point in having a PC now at that price that is older technology - and they sold you something no reasonable person would - 12GB of memory. That means you lost (on that PC) the ability to use Dual Channel memory since the memory config wasn't symmetrical.

I don't think he got ripped off by design, it's just that if you order a powerful PC like that from a manufacturer, they pad the price with support and a warranty and a bunch of other things. It isn't the best configuration, but then I'm sure some of those "extras" the OP added to the order himself.

ok, so once I cancel this order what do I need to modify besides 99x motherboard?
Cyberpower don't have 99x motherboard I just checked now. Maybe cancel the order completely? They haven't charged me yet. Since its long weekend. They are gonna process payment tomorrow, I can cancel the order before tomorrow.

Where do I buy Haswell CPU? I want to buy it from somewhere where quality is good and price is reasonable. Xotic Executioner is $7k I don't want to go that high and there are no cooling upgrades and stuff. Everything is stock with no Monitor or keyboard/mouse.

With a budget like yours, and for gaming,
Look for a i7-4790K as the cpu. It will blow away the FX-9590.
One could make a case for the new haswell-e chips, but not really for gaming.
Few games will use the extra cores of a 6 or 8 core cpu.
To keep the power limits down, the Haswell-e chips will not overclock individual cores as high as the 4790K.
Intel does not depend on fast ram, so I see limited benefit from ddr4.

Spend your money on the graphics card/s.
If your time frame permits, look for GTX880, rumored for September.
Otherwise sli GTX780ti is as good as it gets.

Its AMD Radeon R9 295X2 Dual GPUs 8GB GDDR5. Its not R9 280 graphic card, this Desktop does come with FREE ASUS PB287Q Monitor which many sites ask for $600+ extra that includes in this price. Also, I hear Octa core is much better than Quadcore processor for intel. I am neither intel fan or AMD fan, I just like the performance aspect don't care about powerbill. In my province, power is pretty cheap.

Yes its around there. And if I can't get 4k resolution screen, then I dont see the reason not to buy this desktop. As you said I will probably change i7 processor 5930k. I think that is better.

Here are the changes I made with my order. As for 780 titan graphic I don't get free 4k UHD monitor I have to pay for it this increases the price to same as R9 295x2 graphic card. And couple youtube video suggest this graphic is the best. But besides that major changes are below.

MOTHERBOARD: ASUS X99 Deluxe ATX w/Wi-Fi 802.11 AC 2.4/5 GHz, Dual Intel GbE LAN, 5x Gen3 PCIe x16, 1 PCIe x4,1x M.2, 10x SATA 6Gb/s [+221]
Intel® Core™ i7-5930K Six-Core 3.50GHz 15MB Intel Smart Cache LGA2011-V3 [+210]
MEMORY: 32GB (4GBx8) DDR4/2666MHz Quad Channel Memory [+600] (Corsair or Major Brand)

Cooler Master Thermal Fusion 400 Extreme Performance CPU - Thermal Compound Optimized for Thermal Dissipation [+10]

Is there any other Thermal compound? I mean, do you use it for something else? (Just laughing at the way they use marketing).

The build looks overkill by far, it is high end anyways. But you should be careful with it. The X99 chipset is not matured yet, it has plenty of instability. Look for constant updates!

Good luck!
