Accidentally put 9V down a 5V 160GB Freecom Mobile Drive. Burning smell was the give away. LED still illuminates but drive is not spinning up anymore and no response when USB is connected. Most of the drive contents is backed up elsewhere but a few things I'd like off it. Any suggestions to recover the data? Cheers

Thanks for the reply. I've opened her up, terrible smell of burnt electronics. Inside is a Samsung HM160JI SATA HDD. I should be able to remove it
