Hello, I have an overheating problem.

Currently I have only one fan at the back of the case as an exhaust, also I constanly keep my case open

I do not have the ability to place a front fan to create airflow, only two side fan slots wich are relatively at the back, one is on top of the other.

My question is, should i place two fans in the side slots (the bottom -> intake
upper ->exhaust) Will it work as a good airflow?

Specs:

Intel® Core™ i3-2100 Processor
(3M Cache, 3.10 GHz)
4GB DDR3
Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti

Well i would not keep my case open if i installed two fans on the side case. I am planing to create airflow.

Furthermore I am interested will the two intake fans create problems as I read that you should allways have more exhaust fans, also can an intake fan be that high in the case (hot air rises).

Maybe I should install just one intake fan (bottom slot) and leave the upper slot empty?

I am clueless and my pc just keeps shutting down because of overheating.

Thank you for your anwser, i've decided not to instal the upper exhuast fan, as you say it would be pointless.

I am considering placing two intake and ''creating'' ( power tools :D ) a top slot for an exhuas. If I do that, I would have two side intake fans on the side and 2 exhuast fans ( one at the back and one on the top of the case). Do you think it would be worth the trouble?
