looking for a new power supply

Hi, my last psu died, it was a 600w and now i have no idea what to get. Im not sure if my pc needs a certain type of psu and such. Here is my pc

For a system with a R9 270X GPU, it is recommended you have 500W, 24A on the +12v rail and two PCI-e connectors.

Are you sure i should go with lower watts when my 600w didnt even last a year?

The one recommended by jimthenagual would be fine. What was your last PSU? It doesn't matter that it had a bit more power since the quality was probably much lower than on that XFX unit.

Its a HMW 600w atx power supply. Atx 12v 2.2. Model is xg-h600 and 80 plus bronze

So go with what jimtheagual recommended. But how will i know if that psu has all the correct and the amount of plugs, my psu had for the pc. Even though all of thr plugs on mine werent all used.

Your GPU needs two PCI-e connectors and the PSU has them. The rest of the cables are standard for computers. It will have a 20+4 pin for the motherboard, a 4+4 for your CPU connection, and sata for your HDD etc.

Any EVGA or XFX 600w will do great. Sometimes Corsair is good but they have bad capacitors on most models.

There are some great Corsairs (AX, TX, HX) and there are some cheap ones (VS, CX)
