Hey guys,
im planning to build a pc and am having a lot trouble picking some essential components.
The Pc im trying to build should -
Give steady rates (45+) in all modern games at medium - high setting at 1366 x 768 resolution.
I need some help deciding the motherboard, processor and GPU.
the budget for all three is around 250 - 300$
please keep in mind that -
1) i am NOT planning to overclock but it is still an option.
2) I have 8 gigs of ram and 4 fans for cooling.
3) I will mainly play shooters.
4) I will NOT do any rendering, video editing , recording. ( i have a separate pc for all that)
thanks so much guys ALL the help is appreciated.

So there's two, issues I guess, with your wants. First, we can only infer from game reviews based on 720p or 1080p what the performance of a game will play at 1366 x 768. It's difficult to find reviews using 720p. Pretty much every game for the past 5 years has been reviewed in 1080.

Second thing is low budget. That's the reason people haven't really posted in your thread because it's a very low budget and the goal might not be achievable. My initial thought is save your money and do this right. Do you even have a copy of Windows to use? If not, there's no way this is possible. That alone is going to take up about $90. A decent PSU will take up $40-50. That puts you almost half way and we haven't even started looking at a CPU, Motherboard, RAM, Case and HDD. Most shooters are GPU heavy. To play BF4, you're going to need a dedicated GPU, 8GB of RAM and a decent CPU. Even on the low end, I can see those three things adding up to $200-250 easily.

i have 250 - 300$ for ONLY the processor, motherboard and graphics card.
everything else is part of a different budget.
this 300 is only for the 3 parts mentioned above.
