Hi!

I want to buy a mobo to overclock the G3258 but I can't decide. The ASRock Z97 Extreme3 looks good and has everything I need, it has 8 power phases, big heat sinks, 12k capacitors, SATA 3, USB 3.0 but it lacks M.2 and SATA Express which I don't know if I'm ever going to use. I know that they are high speed connectors but do you think I'll need them in the future ? Because I'm going to upgrade to Broadwell i5 / i7 in a year or so and I don't know if I'll miss these features. Isn't SATA 3 enough fot SSD or HDD ? So... should I get this mobo or spend more and get the Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3?

Solution
If you don't plan on a Nvidia GPU, you can consider the Z97 PRO4, which's cheaper and has 6 power phases, eSATA and M.2 too (besides being a good OCer). Or, go for EX3 unless storage is outmost priority, that too compact storage. I'd rather like better OCability than M.2 ports in my MoBo. So either EX3 or PRO4.
