So I'm buying a new gaming pc and I've finished building it, however I realised I still have some cash left on my budget to upgrade a single component.

My config is the following:

1 x LG GH24NS, DVD±RW, 24x DVD±R ,8x DL , 40x CD-R
1 x Samsung 120GB 840 EVO Basic, SSD disk
1 x TOSHIBA 1TB, 7200rpm, SATA 6 Gb/s, 32MB, DT01ACA100
1 x Gigabyte R9 280X 3GB OC, 3GB GDDR5 384bit, GV-R928XOC-3GD
1 x XFX TS Series 550W PSU -P1550S-XXB9
1 x Intel Core i5-4440 (3.10GHz,1MB,6MB,84 W,1150) Box
1 x DDR3 8GB (2x4GB) Kingston, 1866MHz, CL10, HyperX Fury
1 x ASRock H97-PRO4, s1150, Intel® H97, 4 x DDR3, 1 x PCI Express
1 x Zalman Z9 PLUS mid tower case. 207(W) x 464(H) x 504(D)mm.

I have enough money to do only one of the following:

Upgrade PSU to XFX Core Edition 650W
Upgrade CPU to i5 4570 or even 4590
Upgrade case to Zalman Z11+ which has more fans
or upgrade/change GPU to Asus GTX770

I had some concerns regarding 550W PSU but I was told that it would be more than enough to power everything comfortably
I havent included prices or anything since I'm from EU. So, what should I get? First time poster here, thanks in advance :)

Your build looks fine , maybe a CPU upgrade to a 4590 just for the extra mhz . Other than this the build is totally fine and the 280X is on par with the 770 so its a worthless update .

If you're only gaming then maybe the case with more fans can come in handy.

a decent sound card /sound blaster z for example/ would help a lot...

@TopLuca Thanks, kinda confirming my own reasoning. Also big like for Stevie G ;)

@Night Owl Thanks for suggestion but I mostly use earphones I got with my iphone and I feel sound card would be underutilized in such a setup, though I see what you're saying, sound is like at least 50% if not more of your overall experience of the world and is criminally neglected by most gamers, me included.
