Hello friends,

This is my first time building my own desktop, and I would really appreciate it if you guys could give me some feedback or tips! (Computer parts - http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/xV4KsY).
I don't think I will require a high-end gaming desktop for my uses, but I would like to have a decent one that can run some graphically demanding games in a medium-high settings.

Also, I wouldn't mind cutting the cost bit more, so any suggestions for cheaper parts with similar quality will be very appreciated!

Thank you for your reply, and suggestion.
I have noticed that you changed the processor from "AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor" to "Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor", and I have some question regarding it.

1. AMD has 6-core processor, and faster speed for a lower price. Wouldn't this make AMD a more cost effective part for my computer? (I am a computer newbie, so feel free to correct me)
2. Would it be okay to choose AMD over Intel for my use?

Is a Toyota corolla that has specific liter capacity faster than a dodge charger ? That's your first question ( I'm not making fun of you ) .

First of all , just that it has more cores and better speed that it's better . The i5 is much much much Better than a FX6300 . Amd uses slower smaller cores ( in reality its 3 cores as they have shared cache L1 Memory ).

The Intel on the other hand uses 4 real cores and faster speed with a separate L1 Memory.

For gaming and multitasking and every day usage the I5 would beat the 6300 any day of the week as the i3 is the real competitor for the 6300 not the i5.
