Hi guys i'm looking to move into 4k gaming. I've been looking into it for a long time now. I've got a £300 budget for a gpu and i was going to get the R9 sapphire but then i've been getting into minecraft and i reached the R9 4k on minecraft and you can't play Minecraft with a sapphire graphics card you can only play with your gpu on GTX cards could anyone help me out or tell me a good GTX card that i could get

Solution
You don't seem to understand computer hardware. Without going into too much detail (as that's what google is for) Minecraft will run fine on an R9 series GPU, a GTX/NVIDIA GPU has no distinct advantage to that game or many others. Some are more optimized to a specific manufacturer, yes, but it does not mean it won't run just fine on one or the other.

Get the R9 290.

This: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/131274218891?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108

And i didn't hear it any where i saw it on youtube you can't select "Run graphics processor" and "High-performance NVIDIA processor

The 295x2 is a beast for that cause however its very expensive as of now .

R9 290 in crossfire will crush 4k and will cost as little as 700-840 Bucks. Bare in mind you'll need good cooling and a 850W PSU ( XFX , Seasonic or Antec ) to handle them.

What R9 290 are you talking about there's alot of different ones

The Tri-X OC are the best ones for their price . They sell now for as little as 410 Bucks.

And dosen't Minecraft run from your CPU?

Yes/No, it depends on the games, some times the GTX 780 is better, likewise sometimes the r9 290 is better. Just go with the cheaper one. either way you will probably be able to play minecraft at a solid average 60 FPS on both cards.

Doesn't minecraft run with a CPU?

DubbleClick

Admirable
You appear to have no idea what cpu or gpu are.
Without going into detail, the cpu runs all the background stuff (aka whats happening) while the gpu is supposed to display it To run a game, you need both, a cpu and a gpu. Both will be used.

If you want fluent gameplay on 4k, you may have to expand your budget a bit. Either use a r9 295x2, two r9 290(x) or two gtx 780 (ti)s.
