OS on ssd + ssd-hdd raid possible ?

im curious, before i try it myself, is i possible to install the os on a ssd and then raid a hdd with another ssd using rapid storage technologie ( hdd capacity using the ssd as a cache )

sorry for my poor english, not my primary language.

SSD #1 - OS and all applications
SSD #2 - whatever games fit
HDD - all that other junk. Music, movies, video, etc, etc.

Using SSD #2 as a cache for the HDD wastes a lot of the benefit of having that SSD speed.

Is it possible? Yes. Is it the best way to use those resources? Not IMHO, no.

That is a serious waste of resources.

Either get a bigger single SSD, or just use the two SSDs as individual drives. Using the second SSD as a cache for the HDD means using that SSD for stuff that really doesn't require the speed of an SSD.
