My new computer that i built three months or so ago has been working fine other than the fact that every 5-20 minutes my internet seems to go down. My network card is a usb Linksys AE2500. I have tried rerunning the setup cd that came with the card, but that didnt seem to fix the issue. I have unchecked the setting that allowed the computer to shut it off to save power after that it seemed fine for about a day and then it started disconnecting again. I have even tried switching the usb port that it's plugged into but that didnt seem to fix the problem either.
