Hello, I'd like to build a computer with two 760's and a LSI RAID card on the same motherboard. I've used OEM versions of the LSI RAID cards in servers over the years, and I've always been blown away by their performance, but these have always been on server motherboards that were paired up with the Dell or HP-branded version of the LSI card.
I'm sure if I bought a server motherboard I could use the LSI card, no problem, but I'd like to use a desktop board, and two video cards. Has anybody tried this? I was thinking about trying this with a board with as few onboard features as possible, hoping it would leave more open PCI-X lanes to the slots on the board.
