My Ethernet port stopped working a couple weeks back so i had to buy Usb one from amazon. Now everytime i try to watch a video it immediately cuts off my connection, identifies and then reconnects on its own but it does it every couple of seconds as I'm watching the video. Should i try to buy a new USB ethernet adapter or is it something else?
Internet cuts off when watching any type of video or downloading anything.

Have you checked for the latest drivers for the adapter?
It could be just a poorly designed adapter that can't handle the bandwidth. Without knowing the make and model, it would be hard to say for sure. You might consider purchasing a different and highly rated make/ model of adapter.
