I have build a HTPC using an Asus Z97i MB. I am relying on the onboard Intel HD graphic capability of the CPU (i3-4150). Unfortunately the image displayed on the TV is not sized correctly when I output from the HDMI out of the MB via my Denon 3313 AV AMP.

The only way I can get the screen to fit is to rescale (downwards) the screen with a custom aspect ratio in the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel:

I have checked the Intel HD driver and it is apparently up to date. Could this have something to do with the AV AMP or does everyone have to resize the screen to a custom aspect ration when they rely on the onboard Intel HD graphic capability of the CPU.

I am a novice when it comes to HTPCs so any help would be gratefully received.

UPDATE 1: I have checked my TV's manual and there is no PC mode but there is a 16:9 Overscan option under picture settings. Will check to see if this is on and as advised switch it off to see if this resolves the problem.

UPDATE 2: 16:9 overscan was set to ON and it was this that was causing the problem.
