windows 7 PC is not booting?

I have an old desktop intel pentium 4, ram 512+1 Gb. it was workin all right till two days. downloaded some antivirus software and I deleted some files. after that also it was working properly. next day when I put it on it was not booting tied F8 and could not boot the same. after tht I claned the inside the cooling fan and dusted the processor and found the heatink liquid under coolng fan processor chip leaked out. removed the same cleaned put heatink and installed the fan and started the cpu. it did not boot, tried so many times. Now the it start curser by curser the Phoenix technoligies to boot from CD and this took more than an hour to reach this point.... still did not boot-- hep me if ay one can

I will recommend you to change the CPU as P4s are old and slow, even vista that was stated to be the last OS to run on it will lag

if you use the computer for just internet and you don't want to upgrade it then get a vista home basic disc
just make sure to install all the updates available to it so you won't face problems

again I recommend you to get a higher CPU and maybe install windows 8.1
