Basically at christmas im looking to get a full watercooling loop for my very hot running pc...
My specs are:
AMD 8320 currently at stock (ill get into that soon)
ASRock Extreme3 990FX MOBO
Corsair Venegance 8gb 1600mhz
REFERENCE Sapphire R9 290
Corsair CX750
Corsair H100

Basically i cant overclock at the moment because my motherboard has a very hot VRM and as soon as i run prime95 the cpu downclocks to 1.3mhz no matter what, even at stock!! basically what i want to know is, what i should do, i will have the funds at chirstmas to get the full loop, and POSSIBLY get another motherboard, like a asus maximus or a sabertooth, but i would like to get the full loop for my cpu and gpu as the heat is killer!
If you could advise me on what to aim for, including gpu blocks, custom parts, recommended kit etc

I live in the UK so links from here would be appreciated, not too fussed on price but £200-250 will be my budget for the water loop overall if possible though i can move on price

Please help me out

Thanks

Custom loop is going to provide the best cooling available (by only an extra couple degrees). Custom water-cooling is also extremely expensive to get into and takes a ton of patience to rig up. As long as your gpu isn't running too hot (which the 290 usually doesn't) i would advise you to pick up a closed loop cpu cooler.

Edit:
Wow, wait so you're running that hot on a h100? There's got to be something wrong with either your cooler application, or your motherboard. I would recommend getting a sabertooth like you said.

I'm not convinced that watercooling is your savior...it sounds like your overclocking needs some work. I'm thinking that there are issues with your clocks and settings, not simply heat.

Watercooling doesn't have to be that difficult or expensive, but knowing what you want and need are highly important to go budget-friendly and simply.

I have a ton of info in the watercooling sticky and FAQ, linked below in my sig.

Ive been told that my motherboard has been off and on the support list and that it is unstable even at stock, nothing fails, but when i run prime95 it does the same as when i have a 4.5ghz oc, the cpu hes throttled by the VRM which is awfully cooled...

I am currently waiting on my friend coming home from spain as i didnt have any thermal paste and he had some arctic silver 5 and he said he would lend me some to try and see if it fixes my cpu, hopefully it helps even a tiny bit at least, and as for my gpu, its a reference r9 290, and is known very well to run at 95degrees and that causes me isses of locking up when it goes higher, it sounds like a jet, etc

Also the cost isnt a masive issue aslong as its kept as low as necessary, but i have been in the pc game a while and i know what to expect when buying new parts, and i can setup the loop without too much hassle as i have my dad who has 15 years experience and even a local pc shop that my dad speaks to alot so i can go in and im sure they would help me out

Thanks
