Whats the highest OC you have gotten on your 250?

Also, just for reference

CPU: AMD FX 6300 @ 3.6GhZ
Ram: Crucial Balistix sport 8gb cl9 @1600
MOBO: gigabyte GA-8lmt-sp2 rev 2.1
PSU: EVGA 600 Watt
Benchmarks: 3dMark firestrike and Furmark
I used CATALYST CONTROL CENTER to overclock the card. It makes it quite easy to ramp up the fans all the way to prevent overheating.

Solution
Considering this is a mid/low range card, I was able to get some reletively high clock rates on the sucker. If I tweak it enough I may be able to break 3000 points.
To achieve this score of 2827, I had to overclock my CPU to 4.2ghz during the test.

Yeah. I used catalyst and upped the fan speed to 100% (to prevent overheating), and upped the power to 20% (above stock).
I ran 3dmark at 1200mhz and had some particle errors (not to mention the GPU was running at some 80c). I also had some lines appeared randomly on "fire strike". I was only able to get a stable OC at around 1170mhz, but was able to get it up to 1200 just to take pictures.
I will try to get it higher in the future (possibly 1300+) but for now I will focus on getting a stable 1200.

You will need to increase the core voltage to get it to 1200mhz stable, beware this generates much more heat and can damage your card.

I have the voltage set as high as it can go xD

The 20% power allows your card to use 20% more wattage and is not the core voltage.

I used OC guru to up the voltage and got it running 3Dmark Firestrike with a score of 2827. Originally the computer had a score of 1995..Quite the performance boost!
