Hopefully, you made Recovery disks (or a USB stick) long ago from that utility included on the original hard drive.
What? Didn't make those? Hmmm... well, I don't know what you mean by "crashed" but IF the original drive is alive at all, it might be clone-able, then, using a Desktop PC with a couple of open SATA connectors. Install a cloning program (like the free Macrium Reflect, although there are several others), then power down the desktop, plug in the Old HP Drive and the New Replacement. Power the Desktop Computer back up, have Windows recognize each drive, then from Macrium Reflect, clone the Old One to the New One.
If the old one is completely dead-? Gulp...
