I recently purchased a wireless card (TP-Link 4800) for a new build PC. I inserted the card into the motherboard (Asrock z87 Extreme 6) but when I try to install the drivers, the card isn't being detected. The operating system is Windows 8-64 bit.
I've searched through some forums dealing with similar scenarios on Tom's and elsewhere but was unable to find anything that led me to any productive conclusion.
