Stripped case fan screws

I have a case fan screw and it's completely stripped. I've tried everything to remove it other than drilling it and cutting it with a dremel. I've looked online to no avail. Do you guys know any way to get this screw out? It's been driving me crazy.

Yeah, probably too much metal dust floating around.
Possibly carve off enough plastic from the fan mount to be able to grab on to the screw head.

I tried vise grips but it just kept on sliding. I don't really care if I wreck the threads because I can just turn it around and use it as a intake.

I was thinking about doing this but I was worried about the vibrations and sparks that can happen as a result. Will the metal shavings and whatever else that happens damage the internal components of my computer?
