Just came up with another pc build(under£400)

Is this suitable-your the experts

All I want is to play a few games like bf4, borderlands, bio shock, far cry, evolve on good quality graphics and fps

Here it is:

AMD FX8320 Black Edition 8 Core £100
MSI 970A-G43 AMD 970 ATX Motherboard £45
Gigabyte NVIDIA GTX 750Ti 2GB PCI-E Graphics Card £105.
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (120mm)-if needed=idk £25
HyperX 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 CL9 DIMM £55.
Corsair Builder Series CX 430 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze £30
500GB SATA 3.5 inch Internal Hard Drive. £25

Is this decent enough? I will obviously upgrade slowly but is this a good starting point in the gaming life on pc?

Thanks for you help and suggestions by the way!

Solution

Then the Corsair CX430 will be a good option.
on new pc make sure you use 1600 speed cl9 ram or faster. save a few bucks more buy a larger power supply. it not the total wattage but the load you put on the 12v line on the unit. if you max out a power supply in games it can black out or fail.buying a slightly larger unit then needed save your gaming rig. also saves you money when you put in a higher end gpu so you dont have to replace the power supply.

Change the processor to an FX-6300. You will not notice significant difference between these two processors when gaming.

Change the motherboard to a Gigabyte 970A-UD3P, one of the best.

You might want to change the HDD to a 1TB since the difference in price is extremely similar.

And consider changing the power supply to a better SeaSonic one, since you might be wanting to overclock.

500W for the FX 8 core and 430W would do for the FX 6 core. Or you could wait for the FX 8370E which is 4.1Ghz/4.4Ghz turbo, 8 cores, and 95W (like the six core, instead of the 125W of the 8320/8350)

The 750ti is a decent card, it will do alright but nothing to brag about. Its power efficient, but not all that powerful overall compared to similarly priced options.(r7 265)
