I recently bought an older pc (I'm using it for particular parts. It's about 7 years old) from a friend that was built by him. My new build is using an i5-4690k and I'm curious if the AXP-140 775 from Thermalright heat sync is compatible.
CPU socket is lga1150
Heatsink socket is 775

the 1155/1150 cpu pin legs are in the same place. if the cpu cooler has brackets with 3 or more screw hole placments then you can move it. just use some new thermal paste when you do.
