power supply with r9 290 & i5 4690k

Hello

i plan to buy the r9 290 and the i5 4690k, i currently have a ocz zs 750w psu, would this be ok or will i need a better psu?

i've had it for pretty much exactly 2 years, the only thing is, my graphics card broke when we had a bad power surge, so im wondering if my psu will be messed up? im running it currently but with the r90 etc

yeah, i actually bought a cheap 5450 from my local pc store just to test if the pcie slot in my MB was working, it is, i've been playing arma 3 on this 5450 and well lets just say even on full low and 50% sampling its a horrible experience but i've had no crashes/bluescreens/ or anything, im guessing the such terrible performance is down to the 5450:p?
