Ok so this problem has happened a few times now, I will be in a game, so far it's only happened in DayZ mod, and now in bfbc2. I will be playing my game, the screen will freeze, a horrible noise will occur from my speakers and I get a BSOD and my pc restarts on it's own.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 124
BCP1: 0000000000000000
BCP2: FFFFFA8007B8D678
BCP3: 0000000000000000
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

This is what windows gives me when I log back in from the restart. I have tried finding the following files

C:\Windows\Minidump\083114-7862-01.dmp
C:\Users\(Real name redacted)\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-20966-0.sysdata.xml

And I am unable to view these files. When I click on the first one it tells me I don't have a program to view it, I click on the second ones and my internet browser opens to a "this page cannot be displayed" page.

I cannot figure out what this issue is, as far as I can tell nothing is wrong with my GPU. It doesn't have any issues running games like SWTOR on ultra high, and I only have BFBC2 running on medium so that I don't get lag. I don't have anything OC'ed. I just have everything set to optimized defaults. The only thing I set manually in the bios is my memory, which is set to it's rated 1600mhz, because It always runs at 1333 when I hit load optimized defaults.

What do I do? Everything is up to date, video drivers, bios, etc. and this keeps happening. Usually it will happen one time, and then I can run for a good while (until I get tired and stop gaming) without happening again. PLEASE HELP lol

I have now tried running my pc without the graphics card, and tried the same games running on the Intel 4600 HD graphics built into my cpu, and have achieved the same results. Only instead of a BSOD I got a black screen leading to a reboot with the same error message. I'm just about at the end of my rope here. I have also reattached all cables, reseated my memory, reattached my heatsink and reapplied my thermal paste (even though according to Gigabyte's app center my temps are just fine, well below the limits, I'm only running at 3.5ghz).

right now I am downloading a ubuntu .iso(which for some reason is taking for freaking ever, seriously 4 hours to download a single gig, that's redonkulous for my 10mbps connection) to make a bootable usb drive so that I can format my SSD OS drive and reinstall windows. Other than that, I have no idea what to do, or how to determine what the issue is, whether or not it's hardware related or simply a driver/OS problem. I could really use some help here, I'm a regular on LTT but they seem to be completely ignoring my thread on this subject, hoping that the real experts here can help.

Edit: Also I ran 4 passes of memtest86 with no errors.

I get whea_uncorrectable errors on my gtx770 when i watch a flash player video (youtube twitch) while gaming, but it's not immediate and it's not always (I can do it for hours and it's fine, or it can happen after 15-20 mins).

And the solutions and symptoms for the error are all over the place as well.

you don't have any web videos open while gaming do you? (some games might have an imbedded flash player)

This is a hard one to track down; it typically indicates general system instability. Could be temps, a shoddy PSU not delivering clean power, motherboard, or even software issues. Its a pain to narrow down what the problem is.

So first of: List your system specs. Including the PSU. Aside from that, make sure you aren't overheating.
