I bought the Asus PCE-AC68 and installed in onto my PCIE with the latest utlility from Asus but I'm not getting any WIFI signal from my Netgear N300 (802.11n) or any other signals nearby that i would normally get from my old network card.

I have uninstalled my previous adapters drivers and also tried to install this card on my other PCIE slot and PCIE mini slots with no luck.

Everytime i hit the refresh button from the Asus utlility to detect signals, I can see the blue light flashing from the network card so I'm guessing it has been installed properly. The 3 antenas are also connected via the long cable came with the card.

I have read others posts on here but it seems problems other people are having a isn't quite the same as mine (they could at least see WIFI signals).

Can someone please assist me with this? Is there something simple I'm missing?

Thanks,

Generally if you can even attempt to scan you have the driver properly installed. It will normally fail immediately if you do not have a driver. Asus product is pretty high quality so you wouldn't think you get defective out of the box. I assume the device when you boot the computer says found new hardware and prompted for you to install the driver.

I would try to take the antenna off the extended cable and try to hook them directly to the card. If this is like the older versions of this card the antenna will fit the connectors on the card. It is highly unlikely you broke all three cables but this is my only guess.

The version I had would get signals with no antenna connected at all...not a very good signal but it still saw...

You may want to see if asus tech support has any suggestion, the card should be under warranty
