I need a machine that will handle all of the Adobe programs, VideoMakerFX, misc video editing /creation software plus my normal business programs - mostly MS Office products. I am new to the idea of building a computer and am seeking some advice. I want a powerful machine that I won't outgrow within the next 24 months or more, if possible. A few things I definitely want are:Windows 7 64-bit, SSD high performance, 24GB+ RAM, 1TB HD, 8-Core Processor (thinking AMD FX-9730), 4- 3.0 USB, 1 HDMI, Wi-Fi, nVidia GeForce GTX750 Ti 2GB DDR5 2-DVI/HDMI PCI-EXP Video Card or better, ability to use dual monitors (not sure if that should be built in or an add-on,) 750 watt+ high performance power supply, as much cooling as would be practical. I built one on ComputerLX.com but I have no idea if what I built is realistic or not. **I have copy/pasted what I put together on that site below. Suggestions HIGHLY appreciated as I have no clue.

24 GB is a weird number for RAM. You'll normally find RAM in squares of two (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, etc) so if you're looking for that much, I'd go with 32. Although to be perfectly honest with you, I've never needed any more than 8 on any of my builds ever, so I'd shoot for 16 for now and add more if needed.

Thank you for the feedback, Redsquare92. I had found some prebuilds offering 24GB and I want to make sure I have plenty of power for the animated videos. 32GB is what I really want so that as programs evolve I am not lagging behind again. I find lag/freezing to be a very frustrating issue when I am working on a project or multiple projects; which is often the case.
