If you are a hardcore gamer and have problems when gaming and accidentally clicking on the Windows key, then the MSI is the way to go. Or you could have awarded keyboard anyways.

But personally I prefer to go with the MSI as I always dreamed of having one but now planning to get a gaming PC. Anyways enough if my story, the MSI is better as 16GB of RAM is not ended for gaming and so is 12GB of RAM. But if it comes with it then that doesn't matter.

Forget about the single and double fans you will end up gaming with a laptop cooler anyways.

The 128GB of SSD will be a sensible choice for your OS although you said it doesn't matter. But it will as it is a laptop when you want to load games and maps.

The CPU in the MSI is great as...

The CPU in the MSI is great as well and better than the Asus.

And I would like to excuse how I arrange what I said as it is not in order with the specs you listed. :D

I would go with the the asus as the performance gain is very minor, the SSD cache in the asus will mean that the laptop will learn the most commonly used files and will boot faster. This is very good as the most common games you play will load faster that it did before. The SSD in the msi may make windows boot faster but will not affect the games you have as it will be most likely stored on the hdd which is worse than the hybrid drive in the asus. Also the dual fans will make a huge difference in the temperatures as the asus will remain cool most of the time unless you really push it.
