Think I'd go the full ATX size Z97-C, unless there's a reason for considering a micro mobo....both are about equal capabilities wise (OCing, DRAM handling, BIOS, etc)

the reasons are I want to keep as much room as I can for airflow in my case and also on both amazon and newegg the z97m Plus has recieved 5 star rating. The z97c isnt rated 5 stars on either site so thats why I thought maybe go with the plus maybe its better

The micro will be fine :)  and the case is set to take a mATX so won't need to do any modding, all should be good either way ;)

The only reason for going full ATX is if you are planning to get 3 GPUs.

If you will not be this, then just get the mATX. It has better specs and no useless slots (especially when the Asus Z97m Plus gives you 4 RAM slots, 6 SATA3 and two slot gap between PCI-E slots for airflow if you will be doing SLI/CF).

The Z97-C is a single PCI-E 3 slot, as is the micro - multi card SLI/Xfire isn't an option
