Hi i was wondering if i could use my cpu and gpu from my new computer in an itx build that im gonna get i know it need to support the cpu socket and gpu but im asking this question because i want to know if my cpu will be damaged or if its connected to my motherboard like hard drives are im currently using a I5-4690 and a gtx 770?

Solution
You will not damage the CPU at all when swapping it over, the pins are actually on the motherboard and not the CPU, so if anything were to go wrong (which is highly unlikely) you would only damage the old motherboard. 770 will fit no issues as it uses a PCI-E Slot. Keep in mind though not all ITX boards have PCI-E slots so do your research. Something like this will work fine!
