I just upgraded a few things and I have two issues:
first here's the build

Intel 4790k
Asus Z97 Sabertooth Mark 2 (non armored version)
Corsair HX1050 PSU
Thermaltake water extreme 3.0 ( dual fan 3000 RPM on radiator)
EVGA 780ti
Corsair Vengence 16 gb @1600 Mhz

two problems:
1. Spalsh screen time seems to be about a minute on boot
2. all temps on the board are perfect except the Vcore is consistently at 60c. I've read on a few other forums that 80C is the normal no no zone but 60c seems really hot!
is this normal or is there anyone who has this board that know's what settings to adjust. I've tried a few but I haven't gotten anywhere.

please help!

Solution
I have 4790k and sabertooth mark1 with NH-D15.

I had problem with VCore overheating. Getting to 60+ and even shutting down. After I updated bios it fixed it, new bios have compatibility patch for 4790k which will optimize voltage and lower your vcore temperatures and it wont go so high anymore.

To matter of splash sccreen at boot (if you mean that TUF logo) it last maybe few seconds, actually if I'm not fast enough to turn on monitor i miss it completely so if it last 1 minute something is wrong.

Try that bios update it may fix multiple issues.

EDIT:
To bios update. I tried to update from UEFI bios by navigating to update file on filesystem but it always failed. So I tried to update it via Asus USB bios flashback (you can read about...

Sure enough, V core dropped right away. From 60 to 32c Thank You! I can't believe I didn't think to try that. Although, the Tuf screen is still taking a while but I was more concerned about the Vcore temp.
