Laptop won't turn on after repairs

do you hear a beep? maybe you didn't connect the monitor correctly? i only say this because i've done this 
The bezel around the top of keyboard.. where power buttons normally are.
Did you close it up again without connecting those connectors? I did that one time on a very expensive laptop beloning to a friend.
Was releived to find out i had just forgotton to connect the power butoon!
