Hello everybody! I am confused a little bit. So..., I am planning to get a GTX 660, but I don't have the required PSU. Here are my specs:

CPU: i3 3220
RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) KINGSTON
MOTHERBOARD: ASRock H61M-VG3
GPU: Gainward GT630 2GB
PSU: Floston FL500, 500W (along with floston winner case: http://flostoncase.com/atx/winner)
I have no optional fans in the case, so no need to power those too.

I just want to change my GPU because it's just awful. So my question here is what PSU shall I choose and it's the GTX 660 compatible with my PC specs? Thanks a lot for the upcoming replies.

A minimum of 550W-600W is recommended with your build. Yes the GTX 640 is not suitable at all for gaming but only for flash games online.

Yes the 660 will be compatible as long as you change the 640 leaving a PCI Express Port available for the new graphics card. What's you case though? If it is a standard mid case then the GPU will have no issue and will fit perfectly.

My case is Floston Winner (here is the link: http://flostoncase.com/atx/winner) It's and ATX Mid Tower, so as you said, I will no problem at all, I suppose. If you can recommend me a power supply, that would be great. Thanks for the answer.

Stay with this is my best recommendation. It is a Tier 2 Class A PSU which will do most things you want like SLI or overclock.

Here's the Antec 750W. It may be big but it is great for future upgrade or expansions.

Wow! Nice PSU. :)  The only problem is that it is a little bit too expensive. I really want to buy it but that would mean that I must buy the gtx 660 next month... Maybe a PSU, that is cheaper? (20$ cheaper maybe?) But if there's no other recommendation, I will try to stick with this one. Thanks man!

This is it! Thanks man! But, what does semi-modular mean? I know what modular is, but semi? And what does efficiency mean at a psu? Thanks a lot man!

P.S. One more question: Does it really need to be over 500W? Or can I use a 500W PSU? Just asking.

you need a Good 450 watt PSU with 24 amps @ 12+ volt your current PSU wattage wise would do fine but quality wise it looks shady so get this ...

if you want a future proof PSU for SLi in future then definitely get this ...

EVGA G2 is currently one of the best PSU available in the market its a TIER 1 PSU FULL MODULAR with 10 years of warranty so no need to think about buying another PSU for next 10 Years. THINK ABOUT IT.

I forgot to ask you something: Will the cpu bottleneck with the gtx 660? That's what I'm afraid of very much. Thanks again!
