Hey Everyone,

I'm overclocking my monitor but apparently only "supported" cards can do it... Is a MSI Gaming 3GB OC 780 "supported"
Please help

Thanks

Overclocking monitors is not officially supported by anything, and theoretically it should work with all GPUs and monitors out there, but the results may vary.

Hello, if you have a 60Hz monitor and you want a smoother experience (Not 120Hz smooth) without having to buy a new one you can overclock your monitor for free, results may vary.
NOTE: This is for Nvidia, i am unsure how AMD does this, if at all.

Also note this isn't actually overclocking it's more like shoving more data through your monitor to give you the real refresh rate of your specific panel, some of the korean IPS 1440p panels can reach 120-144Hz.
