Contact HP and ask if they can send you a set of Recovery Discs for your DV model. You won't be asked to enter any Product Code if you use those discs, plus the discs will also install all the correct drivers so you won't need to download & install them manually.

go to start menu, control panel, computer management,on left go to disk management,click on hard disk with right click pick task
