Im considering buying the g4me zero headset from sennheiser, i'm unsure if this is the right choice. It matches my demands but not sure if the price is spiced up by it being sennheiser. I'm interested in upgrading from my steelseries V2 Frost edition.

My only requirements for the headset is impeccable sound and Mic. I have tried mic and headset sepperate and i didnt enjoy it.

And whether or not i should include a soundcard - im having the "Realtek ALC892" built in on my MOBO

If anyone would come with suggestions with my choice of product, i would be happy =) Thanks

Probably would need an amp or a sound card to support the drivers on it and THEN you would get that impeccable sound and mic quality from them.

actually... sennheiser does play the price boosting game.

you can get a hd558+modmic+soundcard combo for instance cheaper than the pc363d or game zero.

the "gaming" headsets are marked up perhaps 15-20%.

is it a bad choice for someone looking at an all-in-one solution? not at all. its a good choice but you pay a bit extra.
