So I have windows 8.1 on my PC since 3 months or more, I recently formatted it and then I noticed something, earlier my Windows loaded with GIGABYTE logo, now it goes past that page and then loads with the Windows logo on screen (People using integrated windows 8.1 laptops would be familiar with what I'm talking about, like say Dell laptops boot with Dell written and windows swirley loading icon doing it's thing below it)

I remember the first time I installed windows it created 2 small extra partitions, but this time it only created one. I think that might be for it, but anyways, can anyone help me with getting back to that stage where Windows loaded with the motherboard logo ?

Solution

As far as I know you get an opportunity to select a logo when installing Windows.
When you google on how to change this after install, the above tool seems to be the answer.

Okay, I know how to do this mod, but I'm not asking for a mod, it is included in the windows 8.1 features, any of the new laptops boot like that.
