reinstalling windows 8 mobo

Okay im upgrading my rig currently it has a amd a10 im upgrading it to an 8350 and of course i bought a new motherboard for that my only concern is when people say youd need to reinstall windows 8 what do they meam do they mean like delete everything or something else? Okay thanks

upon installing a new motherboard.you have to reinstall windows.Just format the only drive on which windows is installed.you don't have to delete everything.

IF you had only a single partition shrink it to make a new drive for windows and install.
