So Ive been playing minecraft alot on this old and slow laptop for 3 years now and last month I thought, why dont i use desktop instead of a slow laptop?
So I researched for how much a gaming pc is and saw them like $1000-2000,which is WAY higher than my budget and i cant find any $500 complete gaming desktop, just $500 without monitor, casing, optical drive and such
I did found a great build but its worth $600
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sJjfxr
if someone could make better but cheaper than the build linked above id be so happy
But here is my ideal build
gpu asus r7 260x
cpu amd fx 6300 or lower
ram 8 to 4 gigabyte of ram
hdd 512gb
ssd yes
mobo
optical drive
monitor
keyboard
power supply

if youre asking why i need a budget is bc im just a kid ( 14yo ) bc i feel guilt whenever i ask something from them i dont know why lol and im so tired of this old and slow laptop.
sorry for bad english grammar btw

EDIT:
heres my final update and it turned out to be $ 497! http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NmKJpg
still without a monitor though, ill just use my tv.
so,how many years is this gaming computer last until it gets outdated?

If looking to tweak the linked build:
Drop the SSD, at 32GB it isn't big enough to even have Windows installed and you really don't need it. This will save you about $30.
Drop the CPU cooler, the included stock cooler will be fine. This will save you about $25.
Drop one of the case fans. The case already comes with one pre-installed in the front and you can just install a single fan as an exhaust in the rear. This will save you about $14.
You can also replace the FX-6300 with an FX-4300. Minecraft is largely single threaded and you won't make real use of more than 2 cores (FX-4300 has 4 cores, FX-6300 has 6 cores). This will save you about $15.
You can replace the R7 260X with an R7 250X. It is the new version of the older HD7770 which...

That's about $99 in savings. Maybe more if you can find better deals than I did on these parts.

Where I would spend more money is on the power supply.
You can buy a Seasonic 430W supply (top quality brand, 80 plus bronze rating) for $35 more:

You can even get an Seasonic 430W 80 plus gold rated supply for $49 more:

You can get something like this if you want a monitor in that $500 budget. Also you can save that extra $17 by dropping to a 260x.

This is a great suggestion.
The G3258 is a dual core processor with a single thread passmark rating of 2170.
The FX-6300 only gets a single thread passmark rating of 1411.
Since minecraft can't make use of the additional cores, the Intel will be much faster and it is also cheaper.

The power supply is not quite Seasonic standard, but better than the previously listed Antec VP power supply.
To make this cheaper, I don't think the OP was looking for a monitor, and an R7 250X would be more than adequate.

I thought you were searching for a complete build, monitor included. If you don't you could get a better system than the one i posted.
Also, i posted a build with discounts that only apply in the US. Are you from the US?
