So I bought a new GPU about 3 weeks ago, the nVidia GeForce GT 640. I bought it to replace my ATI Radeon HD 4550, so I could get some better gaming performance with stuff like DayZ. But it wont work?

I have made sure the card is installed correctly, it boots into windows, but windows cant recognise the card. it doesnt even say theres a card installed!

Anything recommended I appreciate, Thanks!

Since you are installing a different graphics card from a different company. Did you make sure to uninstall all previous graphic drivers? (Use Display Driver Uninstaller for that).

Did you make sure to install the latest drivers for your Nvidia Geforce GT 640? Just making sure since you didn't say that anywhere in your previous post.
