I have used kingston 2Gb with the speed of 1333Hz in my Gigabyte GA-G41M-Combo board. But when I go to task manager(win 8.1) it appears to be 400Hz.
When I searched the internet it says I have to overclock the board
please tell me how to do that : (

Download the manual from gigabyte, http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4213#sp
Make sure which version MB you got, like rev 1.3, 1.4, or 2.0 but I think they will be same, but just check it out.

Go to the page 22 "2-3 MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)" section DRAM Performance Control, and try either auto or manual. You have to try it out, if after you changed it to 1333mhz, the PC does not boot, then clear the CMOS to reset to default and boot the PC, and that means the RAM is unstable under the 1333mhz.
