So I have one 8gb stick that is running at 1333mhz and I was thinking about upgrading it to 8gb Kingston Fury 1600mhz ram would that really help me?
Running a 4790k at 4.7ghz and I'm doing streaming and video rendering.

Solution
No it wont help at all. You only have one stick? You should have bought 2 sticks of 4gb so you can use duel channel that would help. I would get 2x4gb of the kingston at 1600mhz or higher that might improve performance. And i personally prefer G SKILL ram over kingston.

I was really thinking should I buy that or new headphones so I guess I'm buying the headphones and will upgrade the ram on christmas if i can still buy that ddr3.

That works, but when you get the ram make sure you get two sticks your taking a performance hit only using 1 stick of ram.

Will do so sir.
also I would get G SKILL but nobody is selling that in my country and I'm not sure about how high are they because I'm running a noctua nh d14 cooler so high profile ram is an issue.

EDIT: if my cpu supports 1600mhz can I still buy kingston fury 1866mhz memory and use it?

Yes 1866mhz will be fine with that cpu. And thats no problem kingston is still very good ram.

I have an MSI Z97 Gaming 3 motherboard, will it work?

After checking supported RAM list (QVL) on MSI wwebsite, none of Fury models Part no were found there. By the looks of it, this mobo may not support fury line from Kingston. [Needs to be confirm from other sources as well] One simple way to ask the customer support of MSI about the compatibility.

Yah its hard to know if it will work. i have g skill ripjaws x 1866mhz and that was not in my motherboards ram compatibility list but it worked just fine for me. I would do what the other guy said and call MSI support or try to find someone with that mobo using that ram to be sure.

I can not do that for some reason, it just doesnt work also tried calling UK and we didnt get connected

Maybe. None of fury serial is mentioned on the mobo QVL. I know they can't specify each and every RAM but at-least one fury serial could have been listed to give us a clue out of so many Kingston RAMs listed on the list.
