Hey everyone, I am planning on sending a video card to MSI today for RMA, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for marking the card so I can confirm that I do not receive the same card again.

I have read posts where people have received the same card again with the serial number sticker just swapped etc. so I figured I would ask.

Solution
Use a permanent marker and make a small distinct mark on one corner of the board, preferably on the back side to make it less obvious. Photograph it and later you can compare it to the replacement.
Small marks from a Sharpie aren't all that unusual on GFX cards so it's doubtful some drone in the RMA department will even take notice of it.
