Hi TH.
My classmate was quite interested in building a computer.
Earlier he was looking at pre-built computers, but I continuously criticizing them, some of them are good and some are not, but building your own is really something, so building is his final decision.

He gave me a budget of Php 30,000.00 and all I need to do I to give him the best PC he could get for his money, without sacrificing aesthetics.

I gave him two PC builds:
Intel Core i3-4130 | Asus B85 Pro Gamer | G. Skill Ripjaws 1600Mhz 2x4Gb | WD Caviar Black 1TB | PowerColor R7 260x | Cooler Master K350 Windowed | Seasonic S12II 520w

Intel Core i3-4150 | MSI H97M-G43 | Kingston HyperX Fury 2x4Gb | WD Caviar Black 1TB | Sapphire R7 260x | Silverstone PS08B | Seasonic S12II 520w

In terms of performance, I'm pretty sure that the second build is faster, but not really noticeable.
As for aesthetics, both look good but the first build has a window so maybe it would look better than the other.

If you guys have some suggestions or recommendations, feel free to post it here.

Parts will be bought here - http://www.pcx.com.ph/ - there are more items available on their pricelist.

Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for the response.
If you're going to imagine the build, the first is Red-Black and the second is Blue-Black, and due to the limitation of the available parts, other schemes can't be made, so either of the two.
As far as I know, he will use it for some light gaming ( League of Legends ), he is also looking forward to some games but I don't know the specific game, and probably for some school works, right now we're doing some Java.

Well both of those builds will destroy league of legends as it doesn't require much at all to run. I don't know if you'd possibly be able to get another site to buy from, but if you wanted to look into an APU system, you could go with an A10-7850k. This would help you get away from wasting a bunch of money on a half decent graphics card, get the same performance, and invest in better parts with the extra 10k. The only problem I'm having with this site, is I cannot find 2133 RAM, which is a must for an APU build. Everything else is there as well as a great selection of cases.

This would put you into a nice quad-core processor, with a lot of potential down the road. Another option would be an FX-6300. They're solid processors and they do better than the i3s in most every day use applications due to having 6 cores instead of just 2.

AMD FX-6300 processor ₱5,850.00
SEASONIC S12II-520 520W 80+BRONZE power supply ₱2,950.00
WESTERN DIGITAL 1TB BLACK 3.5" SATA (WD1002FAEX) hard drive ₱3,900.00
MSI 990FXA-GD65 motherboard ₱5,900.00
ASUS GTX750TI 2GB DDR5 128BIT (GTX750TI-OC-2GD5) video card ₱7,950.00
KINGSTON HYPERX BLU 4GB 1600MHZ (KHX1600C9D3B1/4G) memory ₱2,050.00
AEROCOOL V3X GREEN case ₱1,350.00

Grand Total ₱29,950.00

I went with the FX-6300 because it's a more well rounded processor with a lot of potential. When overclocked it can keep up with stock i5 processors. I went with the 750 ti because it gives solid performance in 1080p situations as well has using very little power. I went with a single memory kit because at this low end of a build, you're not going to really notice a second memory module. Running with 4 GB single channel is going to give you plenty of performance, and leave room for upgrading. I got a 990 chipset motherboard from MSI because that will allow you to basically upgrade to any of the newest AMD processors without any hassle as well has having a nice quality build board to beging with. I went with the Aerocool V3x because it comes in both green and blue. I'm personally feeling the green with this build, then again, maybe that's just me.

I've considered APUs before, but he isn't a fan of AMD, so I ignored the APU path.

The FX was really solid, the build can handle almost every game he might throw at it maybe not on mid-high 1080p but mid-high 768p. One problem tho, in their pricelist there is no FX-6300, so it is impossible to build the beast you gave.

the fx can handle everything above full HD, the only limitation would be the graphics card and ram. All of those parts are from the site you gave me. Everything I picked came from that site. The price list I listed is copied and pasted from the checkout list.

I am not really sure what will work better. My understanding is the 250 is like horrid. It's hard to compare a 2 gb card with a 512 meg card. As for the pricelist link you listed. The parts and prices are from the site you provided. I had to convert everything with google translate in Chrome. No idea where the confusion is.
