Changed computer case, now won't boot

Moved everything from my CIT Vantage to the NZXT H440, and since then it refuses to boot. For a very brief moment, the LEDs around the case will turn on, for around 0.25 seconds, but then everything goes again. I have an inkling the problem might be something to do with the processor. I bought a new cooler (Hyper 212 evo) because my FX-8350 was starting to overheat, and when I installed it I had to use a lot of pressure (which was stated on the guide I used). Any advice to help me get it working?

Moving to a new case, and now it doesn't work, leads to the primary supposition that something is not connected properly.

Redo it.

It appears there is a very faint buzz when I turn it on as well.

Also, when I take out the CPU, the exact same happens. Could I have possibly damaged the CPU?

Check you stand offs positions to make sure nothing is shorting you board. And why would you remove your cpu to change cases?

Any user with 5 or more Best Answers can select a reply as the Solution.
However, it is highly recommended to NOT do that in an ongoing thread. Let the OP select, unless it is a long dead thread, or something is blatantly, obviously incorrect.

Current BA unselected.

Thought I selected as best answer immediately after I solved it. Plugged the 4-pin processor plug in an incorrect rotation (not sure how I did that, certain they're supposed to be idiot-proof). Thank you
