how do i connect my 4 pin case fan to my psu?

when im connecting it to sys_fan header its not working i checked the fan connecting it to the cpu fan header and it worked the fan is perfectly fine but i dont know whats wrong with my motherboard

Fan: Cooler Master XtraFlo

MY RIG:
Gigabyte 78lmt-usb3
Corsair VS550 PSU
Zotac Nvidia GTX 650 128 bit 2 gb
amd fx 6300
corsair vengeance 4 gb ram

Connecting the fan to the psu? or to the mobo. Anyhow, I think you already know how to connect a 4-pin fan on a 3-pin header. Try using a splitter from the cpu_fan header. And, if you have a multimeter around power up your mobo and check the sys_fan header and see if it gives a current. If not, then you have a dead header.

to the psu coz i think my sys fan header is dead i connected my cpu to it and didnt work either is there a way to connect this new fan i bought for my rig? please help

you can have a molex to 3/4 pin adapter but you'll lose any control over it. The fan will always run at 12v. If you want to customize the speed of the fan then you need a splitter.

the speed doesnt matter to me i want alot of air to go inside of my case SO i just wanted to know if its ok to use it on 12v with high speed? would it hurt my system or anything?

That is both an adapter and a splitter. You could connect 4 fans to this and they will all run at 12v. Doing so will not hurt your system / PSU

i cant find the wire i need can you suggest me which one should i get please?
its hard to get these wire over here where i live do you know any wire that i would find easily to buy ..price doesnt matter.
